Charless Place, a 71-unit independent senior living development situated on eight-acres in the City of St. Louis, combines the historic renovation of the original Charless Home built in 1853 with a newly constructed addition.

Now leasing, Charless Place’s amenities include new interiors and community lounge as well as an onsite fitness center, walking trail, and gated parking. Charless Place offers its residents a retreat in the urban bustle with its abundant greenspace and quality services.

This exceptional senior center was developed by Charless Home Developers, L.L.C., a project of The Dalmark Group. Financing involved MHDC Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Federal and State Historic Tax Credits, City of St. Louis Funding, and U.S. Bank CDC Equity. Roanoke Construction served as the general contractor.

Rosemann & Associates, P.C. architectural project team infused new life into the historic fabric while maintaining the rich character of the building and generous site.

Congratulations to Jarrett Cooper, Scott Rosemann, Nancy Rodney, John Williams, Daniel Tynes and the entire development team!
