Erin McFarland recently joined Rosemann and Associates after completing her Masters of Architecture at the University of Kansas. A third generation Jayhawk, Erin’s architecture focus was Health and Wellness and upon graduation became certified in her focus. Erin became interested in architecture in high school when she and her dad would work on projects around the house. She shadowed staff at Rosemann and Associates while in high school and gained insight into her career choice. During college, Erin interned for HMN Architects and helped design the Olathe Medical Center’s Women’s Center expansion. Erin gained valuable Health and Wellness experience through this project and the satisfaction of seeing a building go beyond paper.
Outside of work Erin is a volunteer advisor for the Theta Alpha chapter of Alpha Delta Pi. Erin enjoys relaxing with her miniature schnauzer Wilt, named after Wilt Chamberlain who played basketball for KU in the 1950s. She also loves reading, spending time with her family, traveling and playing golf. She is also a huge KU and Royals fan.

Steve Mulkey recently joined Rosemann and Associates. He brings to the firm over thirty years of experience. Before becoming an architect Steve was employed as a draftsman and his mentor at the time encouraged him to pursue his Master of Architecture. Steve enrolled at the University of Colorado and obtained his degree. From there Steve worked as a project architect and worked as a construction manager, most recently at HNTB Architects. Steve enjoys the work he does on each project, but the Denver Crime Lab particularly stood out to him. He enjoyed the complexity of the project, the different challenges the client and budget offered, also combining interesting architecture. In the end the Crime Lab was something all parties were proud of, just like the saying, “success has many parents but failure is an orphan.”
On the weekends Steve enjoys gardening, in the past he grew vegetables until the deer made a buffet of his garden, he now sticks to flowers.
