The Village of Belmar located in Lakewood, Colorado has been recognized as one of 26 developments in the country for the 2017 Argentum Senior Living by Design Award as featured in Senior Living Executive Magazine. The Argentum Senior Living by Design Award honors architects, design firms, and senior living providers throughout the country that achieve innovative architecture in senior living communities.

Rosemann & Associates, P.C. has been tapped to lead the architecture and design efforts of the rehabilitation of the 102-year-old historic Longview Mansion in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.

An entity of Sunflower Development Group has purchased the property and work is expected to be completed by the fall of 2018. Rau Construction Company will serve as general contractor for the project. Upon completion, this historical treasure will continue to operate as one of Kansas City’s Premier event Facilities.

Rosemann & Associates, P.C. design architect and structural engineer for the development, participated in the ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony of The Residences at Jennings Place II, situated in Jennings, Missouri.

There is no better time than now to embrace the season of giving and the Rosemann & Associates team has generously set out to spread their cheer and to help better the community by bringing smiles to people in need.

Rosemann’s St. Louis office is a strong supporter of St. Louis Women in Architecture. A subset of AIA St. Louis, it aims to help women in architecture build their peer network. Their mission statement reads, “In an inspiring and safe environment, we look to help women grow personally and professionally and navigate the unique challenges they face in the profession. We strive to both improve the St. Louis community and promote architecture to a new generation of women."

Rosemann St. Louis Team was on the track early in the morning on October 28th taking steps in a noncompetitive 3 to 5 mile walk for the Annual American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Cancer Walk. St. Louis' Forest Park was covered in pink while thousands of people united as a community to honor breast cancer survivors, raise awareness about the disease and give donations to save lives.

Charless Place, a 71-unit independent senior living development situated on eight-acres in the City of St. Louis, combines the historic renovation of the original Charless Home built in 1853 with a newly constructed addition.

Construction has begun on tiny houses at several St. Louis-area schools where they are debuting a “Geometry in Construction” course this year. This tiny house project is inspired not only by the increased popularity of small dwellings but more importantly by the alternative movement to fill a gap in transitional housing for the homeless.

Elected officials and city staff attended the grand opening celebration of Pendleton Flats apartment community on October 25. Local representatives in attendance included City Manager Troy Schulte, and Kansas City councilman Quinton Lucas, Jermaine Reed and Scott Wagner, as well as Housing Authority Kansas City leaders Donovan Mouton and Ed Lowndes. Attending from Rosemann & Associates, P.C. were CEO Donald Rosemann, COO Scott Rosemann, and Architects Edward English and Zachary Arand.

This contemporary 30-unit mixed income development in the Paseo Gateway neighborhood on Kansas City's east side is a gut rehab of an aging and partially vacant property. Its eye-catching makeover brings many positive components to the neighborhood with a new exterior design, secure and off-street parking & intercom entry system, bike racks, landscaped courtyard, private balconies, Energy Star appliances, and on-site management. Pendleton Flats is conveniently located near transportation, parks, cultural institutions, and job centers.

Rosemann & Associates, P.C. was excited to provide the architecture and design services for this beautiful renovation. Chicago-based owner Brinshore Development, LLC., collaborated with 4-Sight Construction and the support of local partners including the Housing Authority of Kansas City, Affordable Housing of Kansas City, Inc., Kansas City, Missouri, United Way, and Local Initiatives Support Corporation to complete this project. Financing involved tax credits from the Missouri Housing Development Commission and a HUD Choice Neighborhood grant.

This $4.5 million transformation is the second phase of the Paseo Gateway revitilization effort.  In the next year, Brinshore and the Housing Authority of Kansas City will launch three additional replacement housing projects in the Paseo Gateway Choice area.  The development was designed and constructed to comply with the Enterprise Green Communities Certification standards.
