A groundbreaking ceremony was held on Tuesday, October 6, marking the official start of construction on “The Oscar,” a brand-new apartment housing and mixed-use development in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Rosemann & Associates, P.C. joined dignitaries, guests, and project team members for a series of brief speeches and introductions, celebrating the redevelopment of this 17.5-acre site into a high-density, 240-unit apartment community with 232 of those units economically priced for the workforce segment.
In addition to both traditional and luxury amenities, The Oscar features 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments, as well as underground parking with temperature-controlled, secure parking options for its residents. A new Kwik Trip will be constructed and a 1-1/2-acre lot is a redevelopment opportunity yet to be identified.
The Oscar is a joint venture between Clayton, Missouri-based developer, Green Street St. Louis, Rosemann & Associates, P.C. civil engineers, Stock & Associates Consulting Engineers, IncARCO Construction Company, Inc. and other project partners. “This is a great development opportunity for Green Street but it would not be possible without our project partners and the support of the individuals and organizations across the public and private sectors of the Sheboygan community. We are excited to expand our multifamily portfolio in this market where the location is perfect for residential and commercial development,” stated Senior Vice President Joel Oliver, Green Street St. Louis.
