Atlanta, GA – Blayke Kortman has joined Rosemann’s architectural staff as part of our Atlanta production team focused on student living, market-rate and affordable housing design. Studio Director Ben Mahala commented, “We are excited about Blayke’s positive energy as well as the affordable housing experience that she brings to our local office.”
Blayke joins Rosemann with almost two years experience working on designs for affordable housing projects in the Southeast region. She is fascinated by residential architecture along with the opportunity to create enjoyable architectural experiences for users in living spaces. At Rosemann, she looks forward to growing her knowledge and design expertise in a larger variety of housing product types.
Blayke earned her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2019. She is independent, self-motivated and intrigued by expanding her technological capabilities and is hitting the ground running on client projects. In her position, Blayke supports Rosemann project managers and is involved in all phases of design and production from planning to construction administration. She also hopes to get involved with the Atlanta district council for Urban Land Institute (ULI) and participate in upcoming Young Leader programs the organization offers.
In her down time, Blayke is passionate about having quiet time in her sunroom to draw and paint. She loves painting portraits in oils and illustrating houseplants digitally with her iPad. Her other hobbies include photography, graphic design, decorating with plants, and finding ways to bring all her passions together.
Please provide a warm welcome to Blayke!
