On August 1st, Rosemann & Associates, P.C.’s Atlanta team had an opportunity to make an impact on the mission against hunger when they volunteered at the Atlanta Community Food Bank. During their hours of service, their shift produced 810 boxes of food, which equated to 25,110 pounds of food and 20,925 meals. It was noted that their production ranked second of all-time but that is debatable!
Each year, the Atlanta Community Food Bank works with more than 600 non-profit partners- including food pantries, community kitchens, childcare centers, night shelters and senior centers – to distribute over 60 million meals to more than 755,000 people in 29 counties across metro Atlanta and north Georgia. In turn, these partner agencies provide food and other critical resources for low-income Georgia residents who suffer from hunger and food insecurity.
“This was a heartfelt experience and a meaningful way for our team to make a positive difference in our community,” said Benjamin Mahala of Rosemann’s Atlanta office. Joining Ben were co-workers Tracie Cabler and Aleksander Hays.
