Houston, TXFelix Z. Fraga in North Houston is a 65,484 SF development providing 99 affordable units for residents aged 55 and older, meeting the critical housing needs of the area. Led by the Cesar Chavez Foundation (CCF) with support from Harris County organizations, the project is designed to ensure long-term affordability for seniors.
Named after local civil rights leader Felix Z. Fraga, this community reflects CCF’s tradition of honoring individuals who made lasting contributions to Houston. It also pairs with a sister project dedicated to Frumencio Reyes Jr., celebrating their commitment to social justice.
Located at Tidwell and Bauman Roads, the development offers easy access to transportation, positioned between I-45 and I-69, with a nearby bus stop for residents’ convenience.
Supported by a 4% low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) from the Texas Department of Housing, the Felix Z. Fraga community will provide comfortable, affordable livng for seniors, meeting the growing demand for accessible housing in Houston.
