Holiday Wonder for Cardinal Glennon

St. Louis, MO – Rosemann & Associates, P.C., was happy to take part in the 12th Annual Rocking a Stocking Design Contest & Toy Drive on December 4, 2025, at Working Spaces in St. Louis. Co-hosted by Working Spaces and Kimball International and benefiting SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, the event brought the design community together for a great cause that supports local children and families during the holidays.  Guests at the holiday event enjoyed about 30 of the functional hanging stockings which will be going to the hospital for the kids to enjoy with their families this holiday season.

Under the lead of Ashley Hicks, Rosemann’s St. Louis team crafted the stocking entry for this year’s friendly competition. This year the team came up with “Christmas Cat,” the Derpy tiger from K-pop demon hunters! We wanted to base our stocking off something that the kids would really enjoy and connect with and no pop culture icon is bigger right now than Huntrx, the Saja Boys and their feline companion. While in the movie, Derpy Tiger delivers letters from Jinu to Rumi with its portal powers, our cat will teleport letters from the children directly to the North Pole and to Santa Claws. For Derpy Tiger’s bird friend Sussie the clever magpie, we have made a twist on the classic Peanuts character Woodstock (with three eyes) for the older kids to recognize a familiar face.

The cat’s head is a base of matte board, and the best way skin this cat, was with felt. The eyes are a Christmas ornament cut in half with electrical tape for the pupils. The eyes also light up Golden- “gotta be golden, they’re born to be glowin.”  Tongue is glittery sandpaper texture foam much  like a real cat, the cat will take letters in its mouth for safe keeping. The patterns on the stocking are inspired by the patterns from the film. No potted plants were harmed in the making of our stocking.

Congrats to the winners:
