Kansas City, MO: #Teamrosemann Kansas City is thankful for the opportunity to sponsor Bring ‘Em Home: A Baseball Benefit for Amethyst Place. This inaugural family-friendly event was held as a field day and fundraiser at The Royals Kansas City Urban Youth Academy and included an afternoon of baseball, games, 50/50 raffle, caricature drawings, the Snack Shack and more! MLB legend Joe Carter was on-site to throw the first pitch and share signed baseball cards.
All proceeds from the Bring ‘Em Home fundraiser supports resident services for current families that call Amethyst Place home, while bringing more families home to heal at Amethyst Place – a safe and stable environment for single mothers and their children to rebuild their lives. #Teamrosemann volunteers at this non-profit during the holidays and Rosemann Vice President Dave Hendrikse has worked with the organization over the years on projects including renovating an existing building into a community space and building a storage unit from ground up. Currently, Hendrikse is working with Amethyst Place on their future expansion plans to add residential units.
