
University City, MO – Crown Center for Senior Living enters an exciting new chapter with the groundbreaking of Phase II at its nonprofit senior living community located at Delcrest Drive in St. Louis. Community leaders, residents, neighbors, project partners, staff, and supporters gathered to celebrate the milestone expansion initiative focused on increasing affordable independent living opportunities for older adults.
Phase II Highlights
- Construction of the new Tallin Building, a five-story residential structure over a podium parking level
- Addition of 68 new apartment homes
- Approximately ±69,000 square feet of new construction
- One-bedroom apartments ranging from 659 to 762 square feet
- Surface parking and a structured parking garage
- 38 parking spaces, including ADA-accessible accommodations

Architectural & Design Features
Designed by Rosemann & Associates, P.C., the project emphasizes resident comfort and seamless integration with the existing campus.

The project is supported through a combination of Federal tax credits, Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and additional public and private financing resources
