Team Rosemann Kansas City, in cooperation with AIA Kansas City’s Women in Design Committee, sponsored a “Day of Shadowing” program specific for local female high school students to gain a realistic perspective of what it is like to work at an architectural and structural engineering firm and to better understand the culture and community of our design studio. As students moved through the office, staff explained roles and responsibilities and answered questions.
We also took them on a walking tour of Downtown Kansas City and showcased one of our historical renovation projects, Argyle Lofts.
Rosemann’s Project Manager Erin Morris commented, “It was a wonderful day connecting with the students and providing inspiration for their career goals. The students enjoyed the experience and said that they look forward to attending next year’s program.”
