Team Rosemann Kansas City participated in the 4th Annual Design Career and Civil Engineering Day by hosting an adventure for high school students outside the classroom. The program presented by ASCE – Kansas City, Center for Architecture & Design Kansas City and KC Stem Alliance, provided a learning trip for the students to gain a realistic perspective of what it is like to work at an architectural and structural engineering firm and to kickstart their curiosity about a career in those fields. As students toured the office, staff explained roles and responsibilities, gave hands-on demonstrations of different programs used, and provided a platform for a question-and-answer panel.
Rosemann’s Erin Morris commented, “we are committed to nurturing architects and engineers of tomorrow – the tour offered a wonderful way for us to connect with students and to provide inspiration for their career path.”
