Babe’s Place at Friendship Inn, located at 4325 Rainbow Blvd., is a modern lodging facility made possible by lead donor Frank Thompson in loving memory of his wife, Evangeline “Babe” Thompson.
The ±15,600 SF expansion offers 18 fully furnished guest suites for families receiving treatment at The University of Kansas Health System and Cancer Center. Designed by Rosemann as architect and structural engineer, Babe’s Place provides private and communal spaces, accessible units, and thoughtful amenities to ensure comfort, dignity, and care.
