Cooper House
St. Louis, MO
Since 1997, Cooper House at 4385 Maryland Avenue has been a vital refuge for individuals requiring supportive housing due to physical, developmental, or mental health challenges due to AIDS/HIV. It remains the only program of its kind in the region.

Operated by Interfaith Residence DBA DOORWAYS, Cooper House provides 24-hour nursing, social services, counseling, daily living assistance, and transportation—serving many clients with no income.
Rosemann & Associates, PC, is leading a major renovation, including expanded kitchen and dining areas. The once-vacant Carriage House is also being repurposed for additional space.

The four-story Cooper House features 36 sleeping units, ranging from 267 to 325 square feet, across 34,462 GSF, with an additional 1,556 GSF in the Carriage House. The site includes 34 parking spaces, two of which are ADA-accessible.
This renovation ensures Cooper House remains a vital resource, thanks to the collaboration of DOORWAYS, Rosemann & Associates, PC, MEP The Engenuity, LLC, and the City of St. Louis.
