Phase I creates 45 new units and the rehab of 131 existing units in a total of 21 buildings sprawled over 7.051 acres, designed to Enterprise Green Community certification standards. Thirty-seven of those units are dedicated at market rate, with the concept that residents who improve their income and lose eligibility for federal housing assistance or rent restrictions are still able to remain.
Phase II A includes 14 buildings covering 5,080 acres. Phase II B is on 9.512 acres with 10 buildings and a newly renovated and connected community building.
Phase III involves renovating another 139 mixed-income units at The Brewery Apartments on North 20th Street, a nearby property.
Construction of Phase IV, one block east of Phase I, began in October 2024 and includes 12 new construction buildings and 91 units. This phase is the first to introduce the “live-work” style units along 14th Street.
