Client/Owner

This once abandoned lot has been transformed into apartments and a resource for hundreds of veterans in need thanks to a group of tenacious collaborators and the Missouri Housing Development Commission led by Yarco, Catholic Charities of Kansas City-St. Joseph, City of Kansas City, Missouri, General Contractors 4Sight Construction Group, Olathe Millwork, Rosemann & Associates, P.C. and funding from US Bank.

Rather than a shelter, St. Michael’s is a dignified home where residents are provided significant social service, wellness and employment assistance. The apartments are affordable but with quality amenities and services including transportation, 1-2 bedrooms, theatre, coffee shoppe, computer lab, library, exercise room, laundry facilities, sports lounge, dining and meeting spaces, mail station, companion animals, education and job skill training and more.

All of the services and utilities are included at St. Michael’s and rental assistance is available for those in need. Residents truly have the critical necessities needed to effectively transition back into the workforce and the community.
