Jack Young joined Rosemann’s Kansas City office in the summer of 2022. He is a graduate of The University of Kansas with a Master of Architecture. During his time at KU, he studied abroad in London and Paris. In his last year, he participated in the design-build graduate program, helping to design and build a sustainable, single-family home in Lawrence, KS.
While participating in the design-build graduate program at The University of Kansas, Jack learned invaluable skills and lessons in building design and practicality including seeing the entire building process, from design work to concrete flatwork and finish carpentry.
At Rosemann, Jack helps with maintaining project files and conducting research on construction sites such as zoning laws and regulations. Jack collaborates with other designers and communicates with people inside and outside the company. He sees each project through all stages, while maintaining the client relationship. He is skilled at creating 3D models of designs in computer modeling programs such as AutoCAD or SketchUp and he is at ease with Revit, as well as Photoshop, Bluebeam, and InDesign.
After being unrecruited in high school, I decided to try out for the track team at KU. I went on to run division one track and cross country for four years, earning all-big 12 honors twice.
