Kansas City, MOKansas City, MO – The Apartments and Townhomes at Sam Rodgers Place, located at E 9th St. and Euclid Avenue in Kansas City, marks the 7th and final phase of the HUD Choice Neighborhood Initiative. Developed in partnership with Brinshore Development, LLC, Affordable Housing of Kansas City, Inc. (HAKC), and MHDC, this inclusive community offers 62 mixed-income units, including 1-5-bedroom walkups, townhomes, and flats. The development gives leasing preference to former Chouteau Courts residents, promoting community continuity.
Sam Rodgers Place provides numerous amenities, including in-unit laundry, a fitness room, on-site management, and landscaped green spaces. The project also achieved bronze certification from the National Green Building System, reflecting its commitment to sustainability.
Adjacent to the Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center, the development embodies Dr. Rodgers’ vision of a neighborhood where families have access to essential resources.
