Rosemann Hires Corben Cartmill

Staff Architect

Kansas City, MO: Corben Cartmill joined Rosemann & Associates, P.C. in the Fall of 2021 following his graduation at Kansas State University with a Master of Architecture. Prior to graduation, he traveled and studied in Orvieto, Italy for a summer and completed an internship with an architecture firm in Los Angeles, where he was exposed to all phases of design and learning construction methods.

At Rosemann, Corben collaborates with the project team to create spaces for people to live, work, and visit. He uses his vast experience of custom home designing and applies it to curating meaningful spaces for people to occupy in multifamily facilities. Corben is working towards licensure and enjoys gaining experience in all aspect of design, especially working with new challenges with each project.

Corben’s hobbies include painting, drawing, and he is learning to cook all different types of recipes.

Celebrating 34 Years of Architecture!

Kansas City, MO: This year, Rosemann celebrated 34 years of architecture for the way people live. Starting in 1987 in Kansas City, Missouri, Founder & CEO Donald E. Rosemann, NCARB, AIA started a small architecture firm on his own in hopes to work in an environment where people and talent could collaborate and grow. He took on projects that required teams working together creating innovative design to construct interesting and sustainable buildings. Hence, Rosemann & Associates, P.C. was formed and has evolved into a professional staff of over 50 and a leading architectural firm with 4 thriving locations in Denver, Kansas City, St. Louis, and Atlanta.

Rosemann’s success stems from its people-centric, family-focused, and fun work culture where we celebrate our employees. We also understand that the industry is constantly changing, especially with technology and market unpredictability. We continually adapt and through exceptional and environmentally responsible design, we cultivate our craft and remain committed to our mission of designing communities nationwide where people live, learn, age, and thrive.

Welcoming Emily Clements to Rosemann

Staff Architect

Kansas City, MO: Emily Clements, NCIDQ joined Rosemann’s Kansas City office in the fall of 2021. After graduating from the University of Missouri, Columbia, MO, Emily worked designing high-end single-family homes and spent the next 5 years working for a national commercial firm that specialized in grocery and retail projects across the country.

With a 6+ year career in the industry, Emily has gained experience in every step of the design process from Programming to Construction Administration. She specializes in Site Analysis, Schematic Design, and Construction Documents. Her experience in grocery and retail design has provided her with excellent attention to detail, consultant coordination skills, and client communication skills.

When away from the office, Emily enjoys hobbies of hiking, cooking and traveling.

Sinclair Estates, II Coming to Columbia, MO

Columbia, MO: Sinclair Estates, II is an affordable independent senior community for ages 55+ now under construction in the heart of Columbia, Missouri. These beautiful apartment homes will feature all modern conveniences such as a full kitchen, hardwood style flooring in common areas, ceiling fans, and washers and dryer hookup in each apartment. The development is conveniently located near grocery stores, pharmacies, banks, restaurants and medical offices.

The development will deliver 40 total units Type A units (15 % of total) – 6 w/2 bed HI/VI units (2.55 of total), 1 w/2 beds standard units, and 33 w/2 beds. Rosemann is fortunate to partner on this exciting project with owner Sinclair Estates, II, LP; general contractor, Fairway Construction; MEP Parson Kent McKinley Raaf Engineers; and civil Engineering Surveys & Services.

Rosemann’s Newest Affordable Senior Living Design Opens in Jennings, MO

Located in Jennings, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis, is The Residences at Jennings Place, III, the third phase of a professionally managed and maintained senior living development designed by Rosemann & Associates. Jennings Place delivers modern and spacious, one-bedroom apartments with a full kitchen with energy-efficient appliances, an open living area and carpeted bedrooms, while the two-bedroom brings a full kitchen with energy-efficient appliances, an open living area and carpeted bedrooms.

Other community amenities include hardwood-style flooring, resident controlled access, business center, community room, fitness center, and 24-hour emergency maintenance. The community is conveniently situated near grocery shopping stores, pharmacies, banks, restaurants and doctor’s offices.

The Residences at Jennings Place, III was developed and financed utilizing Low Income Housing Tax Credits issued through the Missouri Housing Development Commission.
Rosemann was pleased to provide the architectural design and structural engineering, as well as to collaborate with an outstanding team of professionals including owner developer The Residences at Jennings Place, III. Weatherby Ridge Coming to Macon, Missouri

Macon, MO: Weatherby Ridge is a beautiful independent senior living community coming soon to Macon, Missouri for ages 55 and up. It consists of the development and construction of thirty-six (36) senior apartment units located in one (1) four-plex, single story, slab-on-grade wood framed building and four (4) eight-plex, single story, slab-on-grade buildings. The project also includes a separate clubhouse building for community use.

Weatherby Ridge is being developed and financed utilizing Low Income Housing Tax Credits issued through the Missouri Housing Development Commission. Rosemann is pleased to provide the architectural design and structural engineering as well as to collaborate with a great project team including developer Turnberry Developers, LLC; general contractor Fairway Construction; MEP PKMR and civil Engineering Surveys & Services.

Evergreen Terrace Senior Living Community Opens in Kansas City

Kansas City, MO: With the senior housing sector going strong, this new 51,564 square-foot development recently opened in the Northland Clay County area of Kansas City, Missouri. Evergreen Terrace provides a 50-unit affordably priced and pet friendly development poised to serve ages 55 and up with restricted incomes. The property encompasses a totally independent lifestyle into one modern community with 36 one-bedroom, 1 bath and 14 two-bedroom, 1 bath open concept layouts spanning 741 – 927 square feet all within in a three-story building. Residents are right in the heart of it all with convenient proximity to Northglen Village Shops, Prospect Plaza, and The Shops at Kendallwood. Northglen Village Shops and Prospect Plaza is within a walk.


Rosemann & Associates thoughtfully designed the community with active residents in mind to create a homelike and fun environment with spacious living spaces, hardwood style flooring, and warm color finishes, along with exceptional shared common spaces that supports the community’s focus on an engaging lifestyle, physical activity, and social interaction including 24-hour fitness center, community room, full size community kitchen, multi-purpose room & a quiet library for lounging.

Evergreens’ tenants have peace of mind with controlled access, onsite management and 24/7 maintenance. Affordable Housing Development Brings Senior Living to St. Joseph, MO

St. Joseph, MO: Construction is complete on Woodbine Meadows, a socially vibrant affordable housing development for individuals ages 55+ situated at 102 South Woodbine Road, St. Joseph, MO. Essential to its community, Woodbine Meadows helps to meet the need for affordable senior housing, delivering modern and functional 48 one- and two- bedroom apartment units in a three-story 45,793 square foot residential building, as well as a 6,888 square foot single-story, eight-plex option with eight apartments

Professionally designed by architect Rosemann & Associates, specific strategic design elements were applied to meet the needs of this Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) project such as prototypical kitchens and bathrooms, minimization of unit and building types, stacking of units and mechanical systems, and calculating the efficiency ratio tenure proper operations at turnover.

Residents enjoy a full complement of beautifully appointed interior amenities including well-equipped fitness center, contemporary community space and roomy business center, luxe-plank flooring, and more. The property is designed within the Enterprise Green Communities criteria incorporating energy and resource saving measures such as blown-in insulation, heat pumps, and Energy Star appliances. Exterior features reveal a tenant walking path, gathering area, and attractive native plant landscaped outdoor spaces. The neighborhood is walkable and conveniently situated near shopping, medical offices, restaurants and more.
