The New Broadview
East St. Louis, IL
The historic seven-story Broadview Hotel in Downtown East St. Louis, Illinois, has undergone a multi million dollar transformation into The New Broadview, affordable housing for ages 55+ and veterans.

Constructed in 1927, the hotel was the city’s largest and most luxurious, serving as a regional convention center. It remained vacant from 2004 until now. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013, the redevelopment leveraged Historic Tax Credits.

The project created 110 apartment units, including accessible options, and feature 20,000 square feet of commercial space.

Located a block from the Metrolink transportation center, the renovated Broadview Hotel connects Downtown East St. Louis to employment centers on both sides of the river.
