Doug McElvain

Doug is a highly skilled professional who combines hands-on leadership skills with his formal training in design, project coordination and technical management.   He brings more than 20 years of architectural design experience to Rosemann clients and has worked on a variety of project types and scales in his career.  Previous experience working for a full-service design-build company, gave Doug a thorough understanding of all phases of project development and lead to excellent responsiveness and proactive communication with all project partners.   

A well-rounded architect, his diverse portfolio includes a variety of housing products including multi-family, LIHTC, workforce, student, and senior living.

Fun Fact

I was a rower in college. Never did anything like it before then, it was something of a lark that turned into a profound experience that pushed me farther physically and mentally than any other sport. It was way more than just placing an oar in the water. I rowed in 4s and 8s and was always the stroke (the one who faced the coxswain) – I set the tempo for the rest of the boat to follow.
