Action Against Hunger

On August 1st, Rosemann & Associates, P.C.’s Atlanta team had an opportunity to make an impact on the mission against hunger when they volunteered at the Atlanta Community Food Bank. During their hours of service, their shift produced 810 boxes of food, which equated to 25,110 pounds of food and 20,925 meals. It was noted that their production ranked second of all-time but that is debatable!

Each year, the Atlanta Community Food Bank works with more than 600 non-profit partners- including food pantries, community kitchens, childcare centers, night shelters and senior centers – to distribute over 60 million meals to more than 755,000 people in 29 counties across metro Atlanta and north Georgia. In turn, these partner agencies provide food and other critical resources for low-income Georgia residents who suffer from hunger and food insecurity.

“This was a heartfelt experience and a meaningful way for our team to make a positive difference in our community,” said Benjamin Mahala of Rosemann’s Atlanta office. Joining Ben were co-workers Tracie Cabler and Aleksander Hays.

Rosemann Welcomes its Newest Team Member Douglas McElvain

He has an in-depth knowledge of current architectural techniques, historic preservation standards, and the application of building codes.

“We are delighted to welcome Doug to our team. His depth of experience and passion for design will be instrumental to Rosemann’s success as we continue to grow,” said Jarrett Cooper, Vice President and Studio Director, St. Louis.

Doug was previously a Senior Project Manager at Nehring Design, LLC, and a Senior Associate at Lawrence Group, where he gained broad project and management experience in residential, historic, mixed-use and senior living projects.
