We are excited to welcome Jase Owens, our summer intern at our St. Louis design studio. He has only been here a week and is already off to a great start with training and hands on experience learning about our projects from concept through construction. Jase is a rising 5^th year student at the University of Kansas where he will join the Studio 804 program in the Fall and earn a Master of Architecture in 2024. Jase is a native of Wentzville, MO.

Not only is Jase passionate about the artistic, academic and technical side of architecture but he also brings to Rosemann a comprehensive skill set and capabilities. He has experience in drafting, model building measuring, supporting the technical research and documentation of projects and working on different aspects of design with the principal architect and design team.

Jase’s portfolio of creative work highlights student living, multifamily and community centers. He is proficient in Revit, Sketchup, Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator, and Bluebeam.

At college, Jase is the community service chair of Krehbiel Scholarship Hall where he orchestrates several events a year. He is also employed as Krehbiel’s Food Board Manager.  

Outside of school, Jase is a big movie buff and has a collection of over 150 movies! He enjoys photography, video gaming, cycling, running, and service to his community.

Today, we are celebrating the 15-year work anniversary of our Chief Operating Officer & Structural Engineering Director Scott Rosemann, PE, F.SEI, LEED AP and what a special time it has been! Scott’s achievements in a short span of time have been many. His leadership, vision, and commitment are instrumental in helping us to become the success that we are today. Scott joined Rosemann in 2008 to manage the corporate governance of the firm, where he optimizes policies that promote the company’s core culture, vision, fiscal strength, and performance. He also helps to expand Rosemann’s services to include structural engineering, which allows Rosemann to offer another level of service, responsiveness and thoroughness. He has oversight of all staffing decisions, project management, budgeting, accounting, and spearheads strategies to lead the company’s future in a positive direction.

Scott is active in a variety of local charitable organizations and is a Life Member Eagle Scout of the Boy Scouts of America. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering and is a Fellow of the Structural Engineering Institute at the University of Wyoming and a Fellow of the Structural Engineering Institute. When not at work, Scott loves to play platform tennis and spend time with his family.

As it nears completion, The Sullivan in Lake St. Louis, MO celebrated with a ceremonial Topping Out event. Team Rosemann joined distinguished guests from the city, and community and business leaders to commemorate this exciting milestone.

Located at 3230 Technology Drive, the Class A luxury multifamily development brings exceptional quality with a modern architectural design and seven total buildings with 144 one- and two-bedroom units ranging from ±831-1,145 square feet.

Rosemann’s Project Manager Taylor Williamson remarked, “We are excited to see the progress of yet another beautiful multifamily community and we look forward to hundreds of new residents having a wonderful place to call home. Ryan joined Rosemann’s St. Louis studio in 2013 and has devoted considerable focus on our most challenging historic preservation and luxury market rate work. With previous experience in senior housing and healthcare, he also spearheads many of Rosemann’s senior living projects.

While earning his Master of Architecture from the University of Kansas, Ryan was active in the Theta Chi Fraternity. He continued his leadership activities through involvement with AIA’s Young Architects Forum. 

Dardenne Prairie, MO: Rosemann is pleased to announce that their newest luxury apartment home design is now open and leasing! The Prairie Luxury Apartments is part of a multi-phase mixed use development providing upscale residential and retail uses, blending seamlessly into the blossoming western St. Charles County suburb of Dardenne Prairie, Missouri. This 18-acre apartment community supports a live, work, play lifestyle and presents (5) 3-story luxury apartment buildings with 120 one-bedrooms (751 SF) and 60 two-bedrooms (1,109 SF), private garages, and a 3,637 SF clubhouse. A major milestone in the construction of The Palms at Plantation senior licensed care community took place on Thursday, May 11 with a celebratory Topping Out event.

The mayor, other elected officials, members of the Broward County community, as well as the ownership and development team, gathered at the job site to hear remarks, enjoy a wonderful lunch, and participate in tours of the impressive new development.

The Palms at Plantation brings a distinctive South Florida architectural charm that fits perfectly within the territorial theme in Planation, FL, just minutes from downtown Fort Lauderdale. The new development offers a full spectrum of distinctive boutique hotel style living options with 84 assisted living suites and 27 units devoted to memory care along with the best in wellness services, lifestyle amenities, and recreational activities. Project completion is slated for September 2023.

Kansas City, MO: A recent groundbreaking ceremony marked a milestone and many more to come at Amethyst Place, a non-profit organization that provides supportive housing, family empowerment, and therapeutic services for single mothers and children recovering from generational poverty, trauma, and/or substance abuse. Amethyst families, staff, board members, funders, community partners, and members of the project team were in attendance.

Rosemann has partnered with Amethyst Place to implement the design of their expansion goals by transforming 1.28 acres of blighted, vacant land into a new 37-unit development with community area, gated courtyard, green space for outdoor play, fitness center, and additional parking.

“We are honored to serve as design architect and to collaborate with amazing project partners and staff at Amethyst Place. We are all eager to see this facility come to life over the next year,” said Rosemann’s Vice President Dave Hendrikse.

A big welcome to our summer intern Carson Sevart! Carson will work alongside our architectural team in Kansas City. A native of Kansas, he is on track to earn his Master of Architecture degree in 2025 at the University of Kansas. Carson looks forward to sampling the full design process, collaborating with a team of like-minded professionals, and returning to school with real-life experiences.

Carson is skilled in many programs including Adobe Illustrator, AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Computer-Aided Design (CAD). He is a member of DIRT Works Studios and worked as an orientation assistant for the past two years welcoming future Jayhawks.

Outside of school, Carson enjoys watching movies and spending time with his family. This August he is getting married and enjoys wedding planning with his fiancé.
